Johnsons undertook the office, stock and warehouse relocation for SportsBike Shop Ltd from their Wyhberton facility to a new purpose built location in Boston, Lincolnshire. Enabling them to facilitate the growth and expansion of their business.

Solution

The works took place over one weekend, commencing on a Friday with the office areas, followed by the warehouse stocks and consumables. Our teams worked on the stipulation of all equipment having to be in place by close of play on the Sunday evening. This meant a shut down from 12 noon on Friday, everything moved over to allow SportsBike Shop to continue trading as of 9am Monday morning.

To complete the relocation of the office areas and sales departments in one afternoon to ensure web and telephone orders could still be processed with minimal disruption.

Relocate stock from the warehouses within the strict timescales provided, enabling trading to continue as of the Monday morning and with no down time at all outside of the specified window.

We supplied SportsBike Shop with a fully trained and experienced team to provide both an in and out of hours service. Ensuring the office facility was relocated first to allow service delivery and then to transfer large volumes of stock prior to Monday morning. Allowing for the picking of items ready for dispatch, resulting in no loss of service to their client base.
